| Consider the lilies and how they grow: They toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. | ||

| For the glory of the creation is the Lord's, who created it; for the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, and He gives the increase. For as Christ saith, "that Solomon, the wise man and great king, in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of the lilies." So Christ set up a lily beyond and above all Solomon's glory; for the lily was arrayed of God, and every herb, and every weed, and every tree are arrayed by God with the glory they have. | ||
